I went to have dinner with Nathan and his family – I’m so LOVING these dinners with them, it feels that I have a family here and it always make me feel hapy :D

Tonight we went to Jolly Rogers at Newport. Jolly Rogers is a mixture of Fish’N'Chips and Greek restaurant, and it has a good service with good food. Definitely repeatable in my dictionary ;)

After reading about The Herald Sun voted it has the best Vanilla Slice in Melbourne, of course I have the duty to try this out myself.

Here is the extract from the review:

Not cheap at $5, but this is more of a slab than a slice. The pastry and custard are light and delicate, with the perfect balance of crunch and cream making it easy to polish off the lot.

I would totally agree with those sentences. It’s pretty big for a slice so the price is worth it, and yes the pastry and custard are light and delicate.. It was smooth and not too sweet – just PERFECT to enjoy on a good afternoon or after dinner dessert. NYUMMM…. : D~~~
