Salade, Fromage, Vin, Charcuterie Dinner

I had the pleasure of trying out one of the French cuisine last night at Alex’s home. Thank you Alex for giving us the opportunity to try one of your national cuisines flown all the way from France :)

We tried different types of cheese and all of them taste really strong. One had this weird taste, there was also one covered something similar to “tempe”, another one taste like as if you licked a lamb, another one taste like an expired milk (don’t ask me how I know how expired milk taste like!). Even though Cheese is not my favourite thing to eat, I enjoyed the experience nonetheless.

The whole thing was so different compared to what we usually do when we hang out with our friends, I’m glad we can do something like that in Surabaya. I really enjoyed last night’s dinner – full of information about Cheese and Wine, and also we get to laugh at some of Alex’s bad English translation – he used the word “fumed ham” instead of “smoked ham”. LOL!
