I should have posted this entry wayyy sooner but something always came up when I was just about to sit down and write something.
It has been a few really busy weeks at work – something always come up when the previous stuff hasn’t been done. Now I understand why some people say they need more than 24 hours a day.
Anyway… Back to the topic..
Candra’s birthday this year needed to be celebrated twice since there was an unexpected circumstance which I’m not gonna go into details – it’s too complex to write quickly anyway.. Haha..
First event was at a restaurant called Bethania. The same restaurant also opens in a town called Batu, that’s where we know this restaurant from. Recently they opened up a branch in Surabaya.
Guys, if you are looking for a restaurant that serves Indonesian dishes you should check this restaurant up. The food there is nice without making you go broke! LOL!
Some dishes from Bethania.
Gurame Goreng
Tahu Telor
The second event was held at Goota at Graha Family’s Loop.
Roland was kind enough to bring so ice-cream shaped like chocolate cubes – which he insisted from Taiwan where actually he bought it from Hokky, a store which is just a walking distance from there!
Very nice ice-cream indeed!
And Ivana was also kind enough to bring a (heaven-sent) cake from Shangri-La Hotel called Flourless Cake. This is the best cake ever! And we can only get it from Shangri-La Hotel Surabaya…
Ivana was complaining how heavy the cake was… But yet, she managed to carry it while chatting on her BlackBerry…. :S
The food at Goota was nice, but it wasn’t the best… But they gave us the group room – so it was like having our own little party despite the hecticness outside….
Overall it was a great night out but I had a little disappointment. Candra invited his personal trainer and mine. They dropped by for like only 1 minute then left. I think they were worried that they were out-of-place.. But honestly I don’t get why people have to feel like that…. Who cares if you are different… I don’t…
OK.. Back to photos now…
