I’M BACKKKK!!!!
Sorry guys for the lack of update on my travel in Melbourne. I didn’t have Internet connection in my apartment, so I thought it’s better to give you all the details in one go after I get back.
Singapore Airlines did a very good job converting their Boeing 777-300 ER cabins. The new economy class comes with wider seats and screens, and much better blankets. But… where are the ice-creams??? I thought they are bringing those delicious ice-creams back? Or did I read the wrong info?
I was originally going to stay in Melbourne until the end of the month, but I decided to go home earlier coz I have done everything that I wanted to do in Melbourne. I have to admit that there are not much things that I miss from Melbourne – other than my mates (of course!), food at some of my fave restaurants (A1 Cafe, Nandos, Rose Garden, and Dessert House), and electronic shoppings (something that I can’t do back home).
I had some fun while I was in Melbourne this time around, special thanks to Ben, Mark, Nathan, and Oki to keep me entertained there.
I went out clubbing at some one-time Asian night event with Mark, Ben, and Can on my first day
I ate food that I missed heaps from A1 Cafe, Nandos, Rose Garden, and Dessert House
Saw some cool changes on Collins St. – new boutiques opening soon, and old boutiques renovated
Visited Nathan and Linda at Lakes Entrance, which was much better than I expected. Definitely a place that I want to visit again next time I’m down under. Though it took forever just to get there…..
Walked around Melbourne CBD during Friday and Saturday nights, which by the way is soooo crowded these days. Heaps of people come to the city for some reasons.
Visited Ben’s new house (which is the MOST AWESOME house). It has an underground hydrolic parking system, a home theatre system with reclining seats that makes no point going to cinemas ever again, three mini coopers, a porsche, a Merc SLK parked in the garage!
I also met up with Rachel (friend from Beijing), it was good to be able to catch up with her as well.
Just before I left Melbourne, I sent my old iMac along with other stuff to Indonesia. I should receive them in 2 weeks time, and I hope I receive them in one piece.
