I should have posted this earlier as some of you have been waiting for photos, but I have been pretty busy these past few days. Sorry for that.. 
I am impressed with what happened this year, my workers “surprised” me with a Tumpeng (traditional rice usually for special occassions) at the factory and some of my friends came all the way to Surabaya to celebrate my special day.
This year just like last year, I celebrated my birthday at Banana King (which is owned by my friend, Wang). That cafe is a great place just to hang out and chat with mates, and the food is pretty awesome too! I heard it has a killer Tuna Sandwich. LOL!
Most of my friends made the time to wish me “Happy Birthday” either via a phone call or an SMS, and I also received some unexpected birthday wishes from some people I know. Roland usually came first in sending me SMS or phone call (usually at 12 am sharp!) but this year for some reason he forgot!! Though I’m cool with that since he bought me a cake!
Everyone I invited could made it to my dinner, though I was a little bit disappointed when Gugun left way too early (he left before the food arrived!). However, I understand that’s life with a wife and a just-born baby. I was already glad that he made the time to come to my dinner – that was really appreciated mate!
I hope next year I can do something like this again, it’s definitely good to be able to sit in the same room for a couple of hours with the people who are important parts of your life.
