I have just arrived back from Samarinda, a town in East Borneo. Fera lives there (and she’s like the Borneo’s version of Paris Hilton mind you!), and she invited us to come for a really short visit since Ben is in Indonesia.
Ben and I somehow managed to drag Wang into this trip to an island full of forest. LOL!
Nah nah, it wasn’t that bad. I actually had quite a bit of fun while I was there, and I’m sure both Wang and Ben feel the same way too about the trip.
I can’t be bothered to upload the photos now, but Samarinda was much better than Wang and I expected. Tomorrow I will try to upload some photos.
Good food there. The crabs.. WOW!
Fera’s hotel is a really cool 3-stars hotel. We stayed at a complimentary Executive Club Room, and the guests staying at this type of room has access to a special lounge where we can use the computer for Internet and order drinks for free! How awesome is that.. LOL!
Ben and I also used the steam room at the spa for half an hour or so, and boy.. that was awesome!
So thanks so much goes to Fera and her parents for allowing us to try a little bit of Samarinda’s life, surely we will come for another visit next time.
