Ben arrived on Saturday afternoon, but without his bag. Somehow the Qantas people in Sydney managed to forget transferring his bag to Garuda’s flight to Denpasar. LOL!
And to make things worse, we had this engagement party of Olivia’s step-sister who I heard declaring that she’s the owner’s daughter of Legong Bali from her friend – I thought that was kinda funny…
So I had to quickly go to a department store to buy a shirt, and a pair of pants for Ben to wear. I just told the girls at the department store that I need them to find me those items FAST! LOL!
I can say that I did a very good job managing the crisis, and everything went well as planned. The party was good, the food was great too.
The next day I had to take Ben shopping to get some clothes until his luggage arrived, and the bag finally arrived on Monday. Funny thing happened at Juanda Airport though… The security guards were making it hard for me and Ben to enter the airport to see the Lost & Found staff. They said that only one bag is missing, so there is no need for both of us to enter. Well, I just replied: Well, my friend here can’t speak Indonesian, and you guys don’t speak English so how are you guys supposed to communicate with each other if I am not there? LOL! Dumb-asses.
And what pissed me off even more was… they had the guts to ask me for “cigarettes money” after hassling us at the entrance. LOL!
That is sooooooo INDONESIAN…..
