Photos from Gugun & Putri’s wedding

As I have promised earlier, here are the photos from my friends’ wedding.

Gugun actually has given me these photos few days ago, but I hadn’t had the chance to upload them. My dad is at the hospital at the moment from diarrohea so during the day I have to stay with him at the hospital.

Anyway, back to the topic again…

Gugun with his keris

The photos are really beautiful photos, and I’m glad that Gugun lent me the whole photo CD not just the photo with me in it.

I like the one with him holding a keris most, he looks so cheeky – well he is..

The photo with me in it.. I look sleepy in that photo, though I wasn’t.. LOL! But then again I always look crap in photos. :(

Cheers Gugun for the photos!

Ben’s Indo Trip 2008 in review

It had been an awesome 9-days with Ben here, I have to say that it was another interesting and different experience to spend a lot of time with my mate. It’s definitely something that I would like to have the chances to do more often.

I have to admit that having Ben here was easier than having Mark or Nathan/Linda, I felt that I didn’t have to try hard to impress him – but maybe that’s just because I know him longer than my other Aussie friends from Melbourne.

When he was here, I felt it was like in Melbourne all over again. We used to hang out quite often, and that’s something that I miss a lot when I am here. However, I have made the decision to stay permanently in Indonesia and I am not regretting the decision I made. We all know that we can’t have everything we want.

We spent the 9-days doing different stuff. We went to an Indonesian-Chinese engagement party (which was awesome, the food was yummy!), I enslaved Ben to work at my factory, we visited Borneo Island and Mt. Bromo (which was my first time too!), we went to the Safari Park, etc.

All of that stuff was great, but the thing that I enjoyed the most was having discussions with Ben. We mainly discussed the life here, and it’s always interesting to see what it is like here from a different perspective.

My dad seems to like Ben more, that’s because Ben seemed to have the same interests as him – business! LOL! I had to translate backward and forward so they could understand each other. That was tiring, but looking at the bright side.. my dad said that if Ben travels again to the US, I can go with him. LOL! Awesome right?

OK, time for some photos…

As per usual, you can check out more photos here, here and, here.

Special thanks go to Fera and Wang for making these past 9-days a very interesting and memorable one! Cheers!
