“Party organising” time!

I spent this morning/afternoon talking to Jason Li, who’s the store’s Customer Relationship Manager, trying to organise my going-away party.

First of all, let me say a HUGE thanks to him for being patient, understanding, and VERY accommodating towards my (INSANE) requests. LOL!

I was worried about letting him know what I would like to have at the party, but in the end my requests were approved straight out by him!

I told him that I don’t want an over-the-top theme that requires my friends to wear something that they have to buy first, so I want the party to have a more casual atmosphere. Even though it’s a going-away party, I want it to have a happy atmosphere as it also marks a new step-stone in my life – the working era! LOL!

I also would like to have a Chinese theme for the party which I think is appropriate one. I would like to remember this party happened in Beijing, China. So I requested for some Chinese decoration like those red lanterns, etc.

Jason asked me whether I want to have any particular staff to serve us during the party, and I told him that I have no particular preference – anyone is fine with me. However, I would like to have Nolan, my SA, to be invited to the party as my friend and not as someone who works at LV. I also told Jason that I would like to have him and Lilian as well. I understand that they are very busy people, but just pop-in for like 1 minute or so is something that I would really want to happen.

Jason also asked me whether I want any particular products to be displayed during the party. I requested to have all the Louis Vuitton iconic bags to be displayed in the room, which I think is very appropriate considering it’s a Louis Vuitton party. For you who don’t know what I’m talking about, you just have to wait to see pics!

They will also provide us with the usual beverages (plus soft drinks), then some snacks. I let him decide what snacks (and I really hope that they are going to have those “lapis-legit” like dessert coated in melted sugar!) are appropriate for the party. He is also going to buy me a cake which has my friends’ names written on it! Awesome right? :D

Being a LV-die-hard-fan that I am, of course I also requested for them to put some LV trunks inside the VIP room! I really like them for some reason and I definitely would like to buy one in the future! Jason told me that he’s going to put up those Eiffel Tower trunks again for us! WOHOO!! Last time I wasn’t comfortable taking pics near the tower because EVERYONE was watching me taking photos in front of those trunks. I was embarrassed. Hahaha…

And now… the very last outrageous request of mine.. I really want to take a picture (or pictures! LOL!) of me laying on the ground with a stack of Monogram Keepall bags behind me, you know like that photo I posted a couple of weeks back.. :)

To my complete surprise, this particular request was also approved by Jason. w00t!!!! I’m speechless!!

He told me that usually they don’t allow taking photos of their products but they would like to make this request as my going-away gift! Aw.. that is so nice of them, don’t you guys think so? I was already happy with the party, let alone my dream come true pose with LV!!

I’m VERY VERY HAPPY AND EXCITED!!!!!

OK, I better go now. I need to make that photo DVD for the party…
