Today is the last day of me being 22 years old, another year has passed so quickly.

It has been another good year for me as I have met few new friends, and re-met with my old friends back from Junior Highschool. It also has been a very rewarding year with my university graduation, and also my experience in China.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with what I have done and achieved during my 22nd year of life!

Tomorrow it will be another eating day for me, in the morning my grandma will make me noodle with wanton for my birthday! As most of you know by know, Chinese believe eating noodle on one’s birthday will bring that person long life, just like uncut noodle.

In the evening, I will be dining out with some of my relatives and some of my close friends at Wang’s cafe (Banana King). I’m a bit sad that Fera won’t be able to make it as she had to leave Surabaya before my birthday. But I’m glad that I got the chance to catch up with her before she left.

Tomorrow night I am planning to eat one of the pasta dishes at Wang’s cafe. Last time I tried one, it was so delicious! YUMMM!!!

Birthdays are not complete without a perfect cake. Roland has the duty to bring me a nice cake LOL! He said that he’s going to bring the BEST Tiramisu in Surabaya from Puri Matahari. WOAAA… just thinking about the cake makes me drool….

I have to stop now before I make myself too hungry… Remember tonight I’m still on diet.. LOL!

I have just arrived back at home from Fera’s sister’s wedding at Pakuwon Imperial Ballroom which I “officially” got invited to this afternoon, and I only have one word for it… “WOW!”

I believe the Chinese people would describe this wedding as “非常非常好的婚礼” (feichang feichang hao de hunli), or in English “very very great wedding”.

Starting from the ballroom itself, the decoration, to the amount of those congratulatory flower boards… everything was unreal and out-of-the-ordinary. It was definitely a fairy-tale wedding, just like the theme!

I have been a good little “6-months-pregnant” boy since Monday with my “healthy diet” that consists of oat meal for breakfast, eat whatever in the afternoon, and no rice in the evening. But this evening I have to break my diet because the food at the wedding was too good too resist, or as we Indonesians call it “Makanan Mulia”. hahaha…

The wedding reception was an seven-meals course!

Starting with a very delicious fruit salad with LOBSTER!
Then, SHARK-FIN SOUP with FISH LIPS!
Then, ABALONE!
Then, Beef in Black-pepper sauce and Szechuan sauce
Then, Garoupu Fish (not sure if this is the correct pronounciation) cooked with Imperial Sauce
Then, Deep-fried King Prawns with Salt and Pepper
Then, Efu noodle
Then, Almond Pudding with Fruit Cocktails.

Oh did I mention there was an unlimited amount of drinks and alcohol too?

It was definitely worth it for me to go there!

So Fer, when is the next big event??

It has been a week since I arrived in Indonesia, but only this afternoon I managed to go to the gym. I had to practically drag myself to go there. I have to admit that I have been a bad bad boy in regard of going to the gym.

I took the personal trainer program (just like the usual) at Celebrity Fitness with Udin, who trained me last time I was there. I get along with him pretty well, he’s good at humouring me. Oh on a random note, his birthday is a day after mine. LOL!

Anyway, he said: “Andri at first from the side I thought you look OK. But I saw you from the back, it looks like you are 6 months pregnant. How much do you weigh now????”

I replied: “I don’t want to talk about that, can we talk about something else?” LOL!

In the end, he made me promise to eat more healthy. The healthy diet starts tomorrow!

I feel that I need to do this, so hopefully I can stay that way until my birthday. That will be my day to eat whatever LOL!
