Yesterday Candra and I went to Tang nightclub (Tang Hui – 唐会), a super cool-looking, and slick nightclub located inside Chaoyang Park (朝阳公园). The club itself looks like a landed space pod. I actually like what they did with the club.
Our first impression of the club was it was one of the high-end nightclubs in Beijing simply because the amount of luxury cars parked outside (BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Lexus, etc).
The entrance was 80 yuan, which is about AUD$12-ish.
I feel that the music was a bit too loud, and it wasn’t something that I prefer to listen if I go to a nightclub. Needed more upbeat in my opinion. Another funny thing was this girl that came along with the DJ kept saying “Beijing 2008″ over and over for some unknown reason, which I found very hilarious.
Inside the club, we met up with some friends from uni. It was good to have the company of some familiar faces. I was a bit surprised how wild Min Kyun at the dance floor – I guess the saying “Don’t judge the book by its cover” can be applied here. 
Definitely something that we should do again, maybe next weekend?? LOL!
